We give thanks and praise to almighty God for giving us a new successor of St. Peter. Rejoicing in the selection of Pope Leo XIV, we also pray for him and the whole Catholic Church.
This moment marks a new chapter in the life of the Church and the world, and we receive our new Holy Father with hearts full of anticipation. We are confident that under his leadership, the Church will continue to grow in faith in God, unity, and service. We pray that the Holy Spirit will guide and strengthen him as he begins this new . . . . .

El 9 de mayo el Papa León XIV celebró en la Capilla Sixtina su primera Misa como Pontífice y en la que estuvieron presentes los cardenales electores que participaron en el cónclave. En su homilía recordó que “Jesús es el Cristo, el Hijo de Dios vivo, es decir, el único Salvador y el que nos revela el rostro del Padre”.
